Peter Arno, 1904-1968 was a cartoonist and cover artist for the New Yorker and Esquire Magazines. He is known for the artwork of a new plane crashing with the gag line – “Back to the Drawing Board”. The cartoon was done late 1940s or early 1950s. It is not signed, but attributed to Arno.
It measures 19 1/2 inches high by 15 inches wide. And the artwork is acid-free matted.
