Original Peter Arno Cartoon 1940-1950



This original cartoon was drawn for Esquire Magazine in the 1940-1950 by Peter Arno,1904-1968. He created cartoons and covers for the New Yorker and Esquire Magazines. Arno is well known for a New Yorker cartoon he drew of a plane crashing in front of two engineers who said “Back to the Drawing Board”.

This measures 19 1/2 inches high by 15 inches wide. And the artwork is acid-free matted. The original cartoon is not signed, but attributed to Arno.
